Mr. Peter B. Evensen

Mr. Peter B. Evensen retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Teekay Corporation in January 2017 after joining Teekay in 2003 as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed Executive Vice President in 2004 and was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer in 2006. In April 2011, he became a Teekay director and assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Until his retirement, Mr. Evensen also served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and a director of Teekay GP L.L.C. following its IPO in 2005 and as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and a director of Teekay Offshore GP L.L.C following its IPO in 2006 as well as a director of Teekay Tankers Ltd. from October 2007 until June 2013 and again from June 2015 to January 2017. Mr. Evensen has over 30 years of experience in banking and shipping finance. Prior to joining Teekay, Mr. Evensen was Managing Director and Head of Global Shipping at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and worked in other senior positions for its predecessor firms for over 20 years. His international industry experience includes positions in Vancouver, New York, London and Oslo.
